It's a great little place here. The Beef Noodle soup was fantastic, as were the dumplings. The price was decent, especially considering the serving size. Keywords: authentic, comfort, delicious. Update: Took the whole family. 4 kids (3-15) all loved it too. Well definitely be back. Limited seating so plan accordingly.

So, the food is 5/5. Reason why I took off a star is because the restaurant is very small for dining in. I’ve only dined in once because I was lucky at the time. Other times it’s been a take out. It doesn’t help that some people just loiter even after paying and getting food boxed up. Just remember that. Service is average, they get the food to you fast. Dumplings are juicy not dry or flavorless. Usually, I only come for dumplings and beef tendon noodle soup but next time I’ll try their stir fried pancakes. Family favorite, probably if not the most one of most authentic Taiwanese restaurants in Chicago and the burbs in my humble opinion. Their legendary hand pulled noodles, served in their legendary native to Taiwan beef noodle soup and various stir fry dishes. Their XLB is on point although the skin is thicker. This place has stood the stand of time consistently

They make their own wrapper for dumplings and wontons, and they have a delicious egg noodles. The food was delicious (the sautéed string beans was too salty though) . We love the Beef Spicy Noodle Soup, the dumplings of course was the best! They served the food faster than I expected. Good place to get a delicious comfort food. The service was fast and good, the staff was nice and friendly.

The soup dumplings and the dry chili chicken were very tasty and enjoyable to eat! My boyfriend had the Dan Dan noodles and he enjoyed that too! It's a small place with a nice atmosphere. They were busy with online orders and dine in orders, but very timely with the food! 谢谢您

Just a heads up but it's very small inside. Only a few tables but it's still nice. Scallion pancakes were thicker than I've had but still very good especially with the chili crisp on the table. I ordered the soup dumplings that had good flavor but 4 or more had holes in them and had little to no broth which was a bummer as the ones that had it were very good. The chili crisp on the table was very good as well and is house made. Really wish they would sell it as they could compete with some of the others on the market. I think it's one of the better ones I've had which was fly by jing, momofuko, hot crispy oil, and the original. The people there were also very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend and would like to go back.

Incredible home cooked meals! Our favs were scallion pancakes, spicy chili dumplings, and spicy beef noodles. Also came with super hot jasmine tea, free of charge! One of the most amazing things about Katy and her staff is that we were running late for our RSVP, so she actually called us to take our order! This way they could prepare and have a hot and delicious meal ready for us before the kitchen closed. That is unparalleled service. We will be back many times in the future to try everything Katy’s Dumplings has to offer!
